One of my favorite photographic endeavour in 2012 was abstract impressions. It took some time to find the technique and suitable subjects, but in the second half of the year I got some decent work done. I was heavily influenced by Chris Friel, whose visions have come familiar to me on Flickr.
All the images here were hand-held with 1-2 second exposure, most of them with a tilt-shift adapter.
A nice thing with this kind of work is that vast majority of the work is done in-camera, there's only some straightforward adjustments done with the computer.
For me the beauty of abstract photos is the way it presents a different slice of the time than we usually observe, a window to the unseen.
